In summary
We designed and delivered a scalable SaaS platform enabling 20:20 Innovation to offer fully managed, customisable websites and automated content services to their members.
The backstory
20:20 Innovation is a professional membership organisation supporting UK-based accountants with the insight, tools and practical services needed to stay competitive in a fast-changing market. Their proposition centres on helping progressive firms unlock growth, improve client engagement and deliver more value through smarter use of digital tools and content.
The Challenge
20:20 Innovation identified a clear gap among their membership: many accountancy firms lacked the time, expertise or internal resource to maintain a modern, high-performing website and consistent marketing output.
While websites are a critical part of brand positioning and client acquisition, they are often neglected—resulting in outdated content, poor user experience and missed commercial opportunities.
20:20 wanted to productise a solution that would allow their members to quickly deploy professional-grade websites, supported by ongoing content, blogs and social media—without the typical complexity or cost associated with bespoke development.
Crucially, this needed to be delivered as a scalable, repeatable SaaS offering that could integrate seamlessly into their wider service ecosystem and support both new website builds and content services for firms with existing sites.
Outcomes & Benefits
Solution provided
We designed and built a SaaS-enabled platform centred on six professionally designed website templates, developed using Webflow. Each template was tailored specifically for accountancy firms, balancing credibility, usability and conversion-focused design.
The platform was engineered to go beyond static websites. Through integrations with Make, Airtable and Mailchimp, we created a connected ecosystem that automates the distribution of blogs, website updates and social media content.
A key component was the development of a content API, enabling 20:20 Innovation to deliver content services independently of the website platform. This allowed members with existing websites to benefit from automated, professionally written content without needing to migrate their site.
The result was a flexible product suite spanning fully managed websites, social media services and content-only packages—each aligned with 20:20’s broader value proposition.
Outcomes & Benefits
The platform enabled 20:20 Innovation to launch a fully managed “websites for accountants” service that significantly reduces the time and effort required for firms to maintain a professional online presence.
Members can now deploy high-quality websites quickly, with pre-written, regularly updated content that keeps their sites relevant and engaging. The automation of blogs and social media posting ensures consistent communication with clients, improving visibility and brand credibility.
Importantly, the system balances automation with control—allowing firms to customise messaging and maintain their own voice where needed. This combination of efficiency and flexibility has increased adoption and engagement across the membership base.
Strategic impact
From a strategic perspective, the platform transformed a traditional service challenge into a scalable, subscription-based SaaS offering.
For 20:20 Innovation, this created a new revenue stream while strengthening member retention by embedding essential marketing tools into their core service offering. It also positions them as a forward-thinking partner, helping accountants adapt to digital-first client expectations.
For their members, the impact is equally significant. Firms can now present a modern, credible online presence without diverting time away from client work, enabling them to compete more effectively and focus on growth.
By combining templated design, automation and content delivery into a single ecosystem, 20:20 Innovation has successfully bridged the gap between marketing complexity and practical execution for the accountancy sector.
