The Royal Regiment of Scotland (SCOTS) is the senior line infantry of the British Army. Formed on 28 March 2006, it was founded on the fighting heritage of historic Scottish Infantry Regiments. Sandlebridge was commissioned to design and build a website that would encompass the heritage of the Regiment and provide a membership portal for SCOTS veterans.
The solution we delivered provides a visually rich website organised into history, news and events, the regimental museum, image galleries and a veteran's portal.
One of the main objectives of the website was to provide a method for data collection of retired offices and soldiers. By building a bespoke sign up form and custom database that integrated with Mailchimp, we are able to capture, store and communicate with up to 10,000 SCOTS veterans.
